Solar Flare designs, supplies, and installs rooftop solar & battery systems for homes and small businesses across Greater Sydney. Real engineers, real warranties, no door-knocker sales tactics.
No surprises, no cold-call closers. We do four short meetings — three on screen, one on your roof — and the rest is engineering.
10 minutes on a video call. We pull your address, look at the satellite, ask about your bill, and rule things out honestly.
One of our CEC-accredited engineers comes onto the roof. No pressure to sign anything; we send a real design two days later.
You see the array, the inverter choice, the savings model, and the line items. Ask anything. We'll change anything we should.
Our crew installs in 4–6 hours. We commission the inverter, register your STC rebate, and walk you through the app.
Real numbers, drawn from our portfolio of 2,840 installs. Every change re-tunes the production curve and re-quotes the payback.
Tap to add or remove panels. We'll match your real roof in the design review.
All systems use Tier-1 panels (Trina, REC) and Australian-supported inverters (Fronius, SunGrow). All include monitoring, app, and a 10-year workmanship warranty.
Each pulse is a real switch-on from the last seven days. Hover the list — the map flashes the suburb.
No reviewer-bait, no five-star template. Three customers, three different houses, three different bills.
We wrote these ourselves. None of the door-knocker FAQ.
For most homes, yes — but the calculus has changed. Self-consumption is now the bigger lever; export tariffs are the smaller one. Our calculator weights both honestly. If your daytime usage is below ~25% and you can't add a battery, we'll tell you it isn't worth it. We've turned away 312 households for that reason this year.
Batteries pay back within 8–11 years for most NSW households on time-of-use tariffs, especially if you charge an EV at home. If you don't, and your daytime usage is already high, the battery is mostly insurance against blackouts. Our tool models both — pull the toggle.
The cheap quotes use the cheapest panels, the cheapest racking, and a remote installer with no continuity. Three years later, half of them are not contactable. We see that paperwork weekly. Our quotes are not the cheapest. They are the ones still standing in 2032.
Yes — we rough-in for an EV charger as standard on the Family package, and we install Fronius/Wallbox units on request. We'll size the array bigger if you've got an EV; the math gets very friendly very fast.
We have an in-house crew of nine and we use two long-term partner crews for peak weeks. Every install is supervised by a CEC-accredited designer who is an employee, not a contractor.
Book a 15-minute call with a real engineer. We'll pull your address up, look at your roof, and tell you straight.
